leader in its other core global sectors. The Global Internal
Communications Lead is a new and pivotal role, reporting directly to
the Global Head of Communications. This individual will be
instrumental in leading the development and implementation of the
firm's internal communications strategy. The successful candidate will
oversee a global team of internal communications professionals focused
on improving colleague understanding of firm's priorities, supporting
key change and engagement programmes, and providing the strategic
advice, tools and channels required to allow for effective internal
communications across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive global internal communications
strategy and plan, providing metrics to demonstrate effectiveness.
Work with and support the Global Head of Communications on
developing and implementing the firm's partner communications programme.
Engage colleagues in the firm's priorities - in other words those
agreed by the firm's global and regional leadership - through
effective, consistent and innovative communications.
Provide strategic advice, tools and templates, and work with IT to
ensure we have the appropriate channels, to allow for effective
internal communications across the organisation.
Offer strategic guidance, provide oversight, and deliver hands-on
support for key change projects and programmes at the firm;
collaborating closely with key functions, such as Marketing, HR, and
IT. Establish strong relationships with global stakeholders to
ensure a cohesive approach to internal communications.
Line manage the firm's internal communications team: setting clear
objectives, ensuring delivery against tight and fast moving
deadlines, and providing regular training and guidance on trends and
best practices in internal communications
Support various aspects of communications, including digital
projects and partnership events and set-piece communications.
Oversee internal communication channels, including identifying new
or improved channels to enhance communication effectiveness across
the firm and working with IT and other internal stakeholders to make
the case for investment in them.
Ensure strong alignment with External Communications, recognising
the intertwined nature of internal and external efforts from an
employer brand perspective.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven internal communications expertise, preferably within a
professional services environment.
Track recordof success in establishing and meeting internal
communications KPIs, demonstrating measurable impact.
A keen interest in global business and corporate storytelling.
Experience creating, implementing, and managing integrated
internal communications campaigns.
Familiarity with working in a global communications setting is advantageous.
Ability to advise and influence senior decision-makers and key partners.
Proficiency in crisis and reactive communications.
Strong command of MS Office, SharePoint and the Microsoft suite is
preferable but not essential.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to write clearly
and convey key messages effectively.
Excellent organisational and project management abilities, capable
of handling multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
Leadership skills to manage direct reports and influence others
within a matrix structure.
A proactive, positive attitude with the drive to advance
initiatives and motivate team members.
