Description
The mission of the Cost Optimization team is to bring a
business mindset to technology spend, ensuring costs are optimized
and controlled, investment aligns with strategic goals, and value is
realized. This position performs the day to day processing of
invoices to ensure the Firm's payments are maintained in an
effective, accurate and up to date manner.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Receive, review, approve, and allocate a high volume
of vendor invoices, ensuring invoiced amount matches quotes or
contracts
Work with regional contacts to ensure that products
have been received, or work has been competed prior to submitting
invoices for payment
Assist in refining the current invoice process
Maintain vendor files electronically
Reconcile vendor statements, research and adjust
discrepancies
Obtain proper information and data regarding invoice
payments, including requesting appropriate tax and legal forms
when necessary
Assist in month end reporting by tracking necessary
accruals
Maintain good contacts and relationships with IT
vendors and Global Procurement
Respond to all IT vendor/staff invoice and expense inquiries
Completing special projects as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience with invoicing and payables
Experience in global organization
Understanding of various foreign currencies
High level of attention to detail required
Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel required
Experience in enterprise 3E or Chrome River preferred
Experience in legal or technology industries preferred
