Description
The Firm's Kansas City Office seeks an energetic and enthusiastic
person to be efficient and effective in a fast-paced environment.
Clyde & Co shifted to virtual work for the majority of our
lawyers and business services team with the global outbreak of
Covid-19. This precaution was taken to help protect our people,
clients and communities. It is likely that this role will start
virtually while the firm continues to evaluate the situation.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor accounts receivable and Work in Process to identify
collection trends for past due accounts.
Partner with attorneys on collection efforts while maintaining
client relationships.
Contact clients regarding past due accounts until payment is received.
Document client activity/communications.
Monitor accounts receivable for disputed line items.
Prepare and submit appeals to clients, ensuring all appeals are
responded to by client deadlines.
Work with billing department to ensure bills are sent according to
client requirements.
Special projects as requested by Partners/Clients.
Act as a financial liaison between firm and its clients.
Assist with collections outside of home office as needed.
Assist Billing team as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Previous accounts receivable experience (preferably in a law firm
or other professional services firms).
Previous legal eBilling experience is beneficial but not required.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
