The mission of the Technology
Process team is to evaluate, design, execute, measure, monitor, and
control internal, cross-functional IT processes to positively impact
results and ensure successful outcomes for IT & the firm. The
Technology Process Specialist is an experienced IT professional who
will own technology, processes and workflows with the objective to
improve and automate tasks (where possible), as well as managing the
suite of tools that facilitate management and execution of the processes.
Key Responsibilities of this role
Take ownership of the technology
used within the team (SharePoint, Power Automate) and enhance this
for the embitterment of the department and firm.
Create policies, processes,
standards, and controls to ensure compliance with agreed policies
and the provision of accurate global reporting.
Manage, oversee, & improve
the core processes across the department to improve efficiency
and/or reduce risk to the firm.
Technology Process Mapping & Procedures
Create documentation, including
process descriptions, RACI, process flows, detailed "how
to" procedures.
Facilitate discussion with
stakeholders and contributors to establish agreed activities.
Work closely with team to enable
implementation, best practices and measurement.
Conduct maturity assessments
against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement
or concerns.
Establish Metrics & Key
Performance Indicators
Create metrics, measurements,
& reports to evaluate & track success in relevant areas
Complete benchmarking to
identify industry best practice measures.
Provide reports to leadership
and affected teams; share progress regularly to measure
effectiveness of the processes in scope at the detailed and
summary level.
Optimize For Best Results
Introduce innovation into
processes to generate best results.
Develop implementation plans to
ensure all IT staff are appropriately trained on processes.
Identify obstacles to success
and possible improvements. Adjust implementation approach as
needed and prioritize implementation of improvements.
Successful Candidates should
Have experience with SharePoint
Online and the Power Automate stack of applications.
Be able to communicate clearly
verbally and in writing, and able to train and work effectively
with peers.
Be able to map existing
processes, identify pain points and create clear, detailed
documentation and process maps.
Be able to participate in and
document cross-functional meetings.
Be able to work well under
general supervision.
Have at least 1-3 years'
experience in a relevant role involving technical process mapping
and analysis/ ITIL Certification and exposure to Lean Six Sigma is
preferred but not essential.
