Clyde & Co has an excellent
opportunity for an Attorney with 2 - 4 years of experience to join
our insurance coverage litigation group. Recent bar admittees with
stellar academic credentials will be considered. This position can
be located in either San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Irvine CA. This
practice represents insurers in complex commercial litigation and
insurance coverage matters, including the defense of consumer class
actions against insurers, coverage disputes pertaining to general
liability and professional liability policies, and bad faith
coverage litigation.
This is an excellent
opportunity for an attorney who is able to work within a busy and
fast-paced team environment.
Main Responsibilities
Analyze insurance policies, draft
coverage opinions and provide coverage recommendations for clients;
Draft pleadings and briefs, and
correspondence to clients;
Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;
Draft interrogatories and
document demands;
Review document collections in
preparation for litigation;
Submit filings to the court.
Requirements
Admitted to practice in California
Excellent academic credentials;
Interest in insurance coverage
required, experience with general liability policies a plus
Some commercial litigation
experience desirable
Excellent legal research,
writing, and verbal communication skills;
Exceptional attention to detail;
Strong organizational and time
management skills.
