Clyde & Co is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 1 to 3 years of
experience to work with their practice focused on the defense of
complex product liability matters (environmental, asbestos, talc,
etc.) and insurance coverage matters. The ideal candidate is
proactive, motivated, and organized and possesses superior writing
skills. The Associate will interact with our clients, and other
domestic and international insurers in this space and in relation to
other latent type insurance claims.
Location: Boston, MA
Responsibilities
You'll gain experience in:
Taking depositions, attending hearings, and mediations as required;
Drafting pleadings and briefs;
Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients;
Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;
Drafting interrogatories and document requests;
Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation;
Submitting filings to the court.
Education and Experience
J.D. 2020 - 2022
Admission to practice in Massachusetts is required;
Admission to New York and other New England bars preferred;
Excellent academic credentials
Skills and Ability
Exceptional legal writing and communication skills;
Strong interpersonal skills:
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
