Clyde & Co seeks a 3-4 year associate to join our Irvine insurance coverage litigation team. This practice represents US and foreign insurers in complex, high value, high profile coverage litigation and arbitrations. In this role you'll have meaningful responsibility as part of a thriving practice.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare pleadings and briefs
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients
• Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions and provide coverage recommendations to clients
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
• Draft interrogatories and document demands

Education and Experience Required

• Excellent academic credentials
• Admitted to practice in California, additional admissions a plus
• Experience working on insurance coverage litigation matters, including preparing coverage opinions.
• Federal court experience

Skills and Ability

• Exceptional legal research, writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
