Description

The Los Angeles office of Clyde & Co has an exceptional opportunity for an Attorney with 3-4 years of litigation experience interested in pursuing a career in Construction & Surety. This practice provides an opportunity to be fully engaged in all aspects of construction and suretyship.

Responsibilities

  • Draft pleadings and briefs;
  • Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients;
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;
  • All aspects of discovery
  • Preparation for and participation in mediations, arbitrations and trials.

Education and Experience Required

  • Strong academic credentials:
  • Admitted to practice in California;
  • Experience litigator;
  • Federal court experience preferred, but not required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional legal research, writing and communication skills are a must;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Willingness to develop and grow a practice.
