As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will support the North America L&D team create and deliver meaningful learning solutions that develop the firm's talent.

Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and execute all aspects of program logistics including scheduling, technology set up, gathering and translating materials, marketing, tracking attendance and evaluations, and coordination with other departments as needed.
  • Run and monitor internal programs virtually as a producer (via Zoom, Teams, and other similar platforms) and/or in-person as needed.
  • Maintain electronic resource library of all recorded PDP and CLE programs on firm's Learning Management System, My Development.
  • Maintain team records on shared platforms such as iManage and Teams.
  • Own learning management system administration which includes creating classes, updating rosters, pulling data, and uploading recordings.
  • Create monthly L&D newsletters using Vuture, our firm's marketing communication tool.
  • Support Learning Champion Group administration including: scheduling meetings, maintaining distribution list, assisting with events, etc.
  • Process L&D invoices and track department expenses.
  • Oversee regional L&D mailbox maintenance.
  • Work with Senior L&D Specialist to ensure CLE/CPD records are kept up to date in CE Manager/Micron, the Firm's MCLE tracking system, and CLE certificates are issued for programs.
  • Partner with third party CLE/CPD vendor to ensure internal and external programs are accredited in appropriate jurisdictions.
  • Respond to attorney and staff questions regarding L&D and CLE/CPD inquires.
  • Support the team on other ad hoc learning & development initiatives or programs.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years' professional working experience as an L&D Coordinator preferred.
  • 1-2 years' professional working experience in a law firm setting a plus.
  • 1-2 years' experience in CLE/CPD support in a law firm setting a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Superb customer service skills and the ability to interact in a professional manner with attorneys, staff members, and clients at all levels.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Previous learning management system or Micron experience is a plus.
