Role: Business Acceptance Unit Paralegal

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting and supporting the Business Acceptance Unit with Client Due Diligence in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations (AML)
  • Researching corporate structures and identifying beneficial ownership through the use of databases and other appropriate sources
  • Assisting the BAU team with any additional work streams involving AML as well as other relevant Risk policies

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Completed the LPC or equivalent
  • An undergraduate law degree or equivalent (minimum 2:1 required)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Eager to learn and get involved with a high performing department
  • Previous experience working with AML and a good understanding of the Money Laundering Regulations
  • Previous experience conducting Client Due Diligence on high risk clients is desirable
