Role: Business Acceptance Unit Paralegal
Key Responsibilities
Assisting and supporting the Business Acceptance Unit with Client
Due Diligence in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering
Regulations (AML)
Researching corporate structures and identifying beneficial
ownership through the use of databases and other appropriate sources
Assisting the BAU team with any additional work streams involving
AML as well as other relevant Risk policies
Essential Skills & Experience
Completed the LPC or equivalent
An undergraduate law degree or equivalent (minimum 2:1 required)
Excellent attention to detail
Eager to learn and get involved with a high performing department
Previous experience working with AML and a good understanding of
the Money Laundering Regulations
Previous experience conducting Client Due Diligence on high risk
clients is desirable
