We are seeking to recruit a Solicitor to join one of the best
Occupational Diseasedefence teams in the country, at a global law firm
with a market-leading insurance practice on a permanent basis within
our Belfast or Derry office.
The Solicitor opportunitywithin our disease team involves managing a
caseload of defendant litigated disease files. We are keen to hear
from Solicitors ideally with disease experience who have a genuine
interest in complex cases such as NIHL or deafness, asthma and
respiratory, vibration white finger and skin irritation cases.
A high standard of verbal and numerical
reasoning and the ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate
information logically is key. We are open to interest from newly
qualified solicitors and Plaintiff solicitors looking to move into a
more complex defendant personal injury role.
The role will involve:
Running a case load of files in a manner compliant with our
service level agreements with insurers.
Assisting in the defence of high value and complex claims.
Communicating with clients effectively and complying with
deadlines and clients' reporting requirements.
Capturing and recording management information.
