Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney - Professional Liability
Clyde & Co's Atlanta office seeks a highly motivated experienced
attorney with 6+ years of experience in third-party insurance coverage
advice and litigation. The position involves representation of
international and domestic insurers with regards to a wide range of
insurance products, including professional liability, director and
officers', cyber-risk, media, and commercial general liability
policies. The opportunity is suited to someone who thrives within a
busy, stimulating and fast-paced team environment, and has a strong
interest in working on complex insurance coverage matters.
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Responsibilities and requirements
Analyze insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions and
providing coverage advice and recommendations to clients;
Conduct complex and rigorous legal research and analysis, and
Draft and review pleadings, memos, briefs, discovery, motions with
supporting briefs and other legal correspondence;
Prepare formal correspondence to opposing counsel and other parties;
Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
Education and Experience
Excellent academic credentials;
Admitted to practice in Georgia;
6+ years of experience in complex third-party insurance coverage
Strong experience in professional liability. Experience in D&O
and/or cyber-risk and media policies is a real plus;
Skills and Abilities Required
Excellent legal research, writing and verbal communication skills;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Ability to handle matters of a highly sensitive nature;
Ability to handle time sensitive matters, sometimes several simultaneously;
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
