Description

Clyde & Co is seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to work with their practice focused on insurance coverage litigation, surety and liability matters. The ideal candidate is smart litigator who is proactive, motivated, and possesses superior writing skills.

Location: Boston, MA

Responsibilities

  • Taking depositions, attending hearings, and mediations as required;
  • Drafting pleadings and briefs;
  • Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients;
  • Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis;
  • Drafting interrogatories and document requests;
  • Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation;
  • Submitting filings to the court.

Education and Experience

  • J.D. 2018 - 2021
  • Admission to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut is required;
  • Admission other New England bars preferred;
  • Excellent academic credentials

Skills and Ability

  • Exceptional legal writing and communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills:
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
