Paralegal - IFPD - London Office - 6MFTC

We are looking to recruit for a Paralegal within the Insurance, Financial and Professional Disputes group within in our London office on a 6-month fixed term contract.

The Team

This role will be working across the Insurance, Financial and Professional Disputes group in London, gaining exposure to a variety of legal matters and working with a mix of Associates and Partners.

We pride ourselves on providing access to lawyers with an in-depth knowledge of issues specific to their geography and sector, ensuring support is available whenever, and wherever, it is needed.

Our insurance teams handle claims across every line of insurance and reinsurance, from the smallest claim to the largest and most complex loss. Our international experience enables an unequalled ability to advise in relation to complex multi-jurisdictional disputes, and on structuring global programmes.

We have dedicated corporate, commercial and regulatory insurance teams working across the globe who advise clients at every stage of their development. This includes raising capital; M&A; new product; overseas expansion and closing books of business.

We also work closely with our employment, real estate and tax colleagues, offering insurance clients the broadest range of legal services underpinned by genuine sector expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with an ongoing matter and assisting with preparation for a large scale commerical litigation;
  • Document analysis and management;
  • Assisting with the preparation of fact, witness and expert evidence;
  • Coordinating legal documents;
  • Bundling;
  • Document review using relativity.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Law degree or equivalent (minimum 2:1);
  • Fluent in Russain
  • Previous experience in a litigation paralegal role;
  • Excellent written communication;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail.
