Clyde & Co seeks a Paralegal with 5+
years of experience to support our insurance coverage practice
group. This practice represents insurers in complex commercial
litigation and insurance coverage matters, including the defense of
consumer class actions against insurers, coverage disputes
pertaining to general liability and professional liability policies,
and bad faith coverage litigation.
This position is open to our Los Angeles
and San Francisco offices.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, update and maintain spreadsheets
to track status of claims;
Triage and sort e-mail inbox to open new matters;
Liaise with clients regarding status of
claims, potential claims, and coverage letters;
Finalize and send coverage letters; and
Monitor state and federal court dockets
and forecast possible upcoming claims.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience
Strong proficiency in MS Office
(specifically Excel);
Familiarity with Court websites is a plus;
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
Superior organizational skills;
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
Ability to handle highly sensitive information;
Ability to gracefully work under pressure;
Flexible and adapts well to changes in workload;
Our Los Angeles and San Francisco offices offer a hybrid model of
work with 2 - 3 days a week in the office.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The range
for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are
considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited
to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications;
and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range
estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic
differential associated with the location at which the position may be
filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top
of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent
on the facts and circumstances of each case.
