We are a property consultancy which helps our clients to extract the most value from their development assets with specific expertise relating to CPOs, easements and wayleaves, infrastructure projects, land referencing and public inquiries.

Operating across the public and private sectors, we work with commercial and residential developers, planning professionals, local authorities and scheme promoters, providing expertise on complex, large-scale developments.

Gateley Hamer is regulated by RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).

The Team

Our team is a growing and specialist infrastructure team with bags of ambition! We are currently a team of infrastructure specialists who are focused on supporting our clients in the delivery of major infrastructure developments across the UK.

We are currently seeking a Land Access Co-ordinator within our Infrastructure Land access team at Gateley. As a Land Access Co-ordinator, you'll be reliable, hard-working, organised, and pro-active.

Role responsibilities may include:

  • Working in a team to arrange land access for various Ecology surveys.
  • Involves communicating with various client representatives and private landowners for access and reporting purposes. This includes via email, phone calls and MS Teams meetings.
  • Working collaboratively with other teams (such as the survey scheduling and Ecology species programme leads) to help organise the Surveys.
  • Using and updating spreadsheets with survey and land access information.
  • Liaising with the GIS team to create survey maps.
  • Attending daily surveyor briefs on MS Teams to provide surveyors with land access information.
  • To be the point of contact for ecologists working in the field and to be on hand to answer their queries during the working day.

Key skills

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines. (Essential).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (Essential).
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Friendly and approachable persona with the confidence to engage with a variety of people (Essential).
  • Stakeholder engagement experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ecological surveys or an interest in the field would be advantageous but not essential.
