The Role

We have various opportunities for Corporate Associates / Senior Associates to join our striving corporate team. Due to our year-on-year successes and increased demand to work on extremely high value corporate transactions - the team is requiring further growth!

As part of this energetic corporate team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our diverse corporate partners on a broad range of matters including mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and equity capital markets transactions.

With a client-centric ethos, long-term team stability and the significant experience of our deal leaders, we are known and valued for our dynamism, entrepreneurial spirit and practical approach. Gateley offer a comprehensive training program and will support your development as you thrive in an ambitious professional services business.

Key Skills & Experience

• The successful candidate must be at least 3 years' PQE with solid experience within a broad range of corporate matters including mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and equity capital markets transactions.

• As an associate / senior associate role it will encompass responsibility for mentoring junior members of the team.

• Possess demonstrable legal technical ability and have the expertise to provide clear, logical and understandable corporate advice in a timely and competent manner.

• Effectively managing colleague and client relationships, you will have the opportunity to strengthen existing clients alongside actively engaging in new business / cross selling services within Gateley.
• An ability and willingness to learn, excellent commercial acumen and great negotiation skills.
• Personable and dynamic personality with a passion for working collaboratively.
