Description
We are looking for a lawyer with a minimum of 1 years experience
within Investment Management and Financial Services. The vacancy is
for an energetic and dynamic lawyer keen to enhance experience working
as a key part of our investment management global platform and
cross-broader capability. We are looking for someone with a practical
and proactive approach in addition to demonstrating strong problem
solving skills and working well in a team. The lawyer would enjoy
working across multiple jurisdictions and relish client exposure.
Experience of advising asset managers in previous roles is essential.
Ideal candidates will have some background, and/or interest, in a
range of areas regulated by the FCA and PRA including asset
management, broking, derivatives trading, payment services, banking,
e-money, fintech/crowdfunding, consumer financial services, insurance
mediation, money laundering etc.
Qualities
You will need to be strong technically and have proven attention to
detail as well as organisational ability. You should feel comfortable
with interacting directly with clients, colleagues and other parties
and we place high value on client service and working as a team. We
encourage every member of the team to develop client relationships and
to assist with the development of the investment management group. As
part of this, you will have your own matters to manage alongside other
members of our team.
Confident, client facing and prepared to participate fully in the
business development and marketing activities of the group. You should
be organised, responsive and able to work effectively in situations of
