Description
We are looking for a lawyer with a minimum of 2 years experience
within Investment Management and Financial Services. The vacancy is
for an energetic and dynamic lawyer keen to enhance experience working
as a key part of our investment management global platform and
cross-broader capability.
We are looking for someone with a practical and proactive approach in
addition to demonstrating strong problem solving skills and working
well in a team. The lawyer would enjoy working across multiple
jurisdictions and relish client exposure. Experience of advising asset
managers in previous roles is essential.
Ideal candidates will have some background, and/or interest, in a
range of areas regulated by the FCA and PRA including asset
management, broking, derivatives trading, payment services, banking,
e-money, fintech/crowdfunding, consumer financial services, insurance
mediation, money laundering etc. Of these the asset management-related
regulatory experience/ interest will be the most valuable - e.g.
AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID, PRIIPs. Other financial services-related or
corporate experience which is not pure regulatory will also be of
value, especially any funds establishment and documentation experience.
You will need to be strong technically and have proven attention to
detail as well as organisational ability. You should feel comfortable
with interacting directly with clients, colleagues and other parties
and we place high value on client service and working as a team. We
encourage every member of the team to develop client relationships and
to assist with the development of the investment management group. As
part of this, you will have your own matters to manage alongside other
members of our team.
