Our Singapore Transactions team acts for businesses, high net worth
families and family offices, financiers, funds, entrepreneurs and
listed companies in cross border commercial transactions documented
under UK and US law.
Duties and Responsibilities
Based in Singapore, you will work on cross border financing
transactions such general banking and finance transactions, structured
finance and corporate debt restructurings. You will be responsible for
drafting and commenting on finance documents (e.g., high yield loan
agreements, intercreditor agreements and security documents), drafting
advice to clients and transaction management. This is a client facing
role, and you will be given significant responsibility, with
appropriate supervision and training. This role has strong career
progression potential for the right candidate.
Key Requirements
You should be UK or SG law qualified or qualified in another
common law jurisdiction.
You should be at least 3 years' PQE with experience in a top tier
private practice at either an international law firm or a Singapore
law firm.
You should have excellent contract drafting skills.
You should have excellent analytical skills with strong commercial awareness.
You should be ambitious, proactive and taking ownership for the
work matters assigned to you.
You should be fluent in the English language, and other languages
may be helpful.
