As a DevOps Engineer you will maintain our development infrastructure
and tooling. You will work with our data development teams to
centralise, standardise and automate our deployments. This role
demands a balance of technical expertise and collaborative skills,
especially in optimising development processes and infrastructure
going forward.

Duties and Responsibilities
Migrate our code base to Azure DevOps from various repositories
Automate Cloud Infrastructure Deployments
Design and implement development standards, policies and templates
(branching, security, monitoring, containerisation etc)
Automate Deployment Pipelines
Evangelising DevOps practices
Offer automation advice and ideas to our business automation specialists
Mentor junior engineers and non DevOps specialists
Skills/Experience
Experience working with a range of Azure services, including
services in the Azure data stack (ADF, Synapse Analytics etc)
Comfortable navigating between on premise and Cloud technology stacks
Good experience with IaC tooling, either Terraform or ARM.
Proven ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Comfortable with command line and code based scripting tools (e.g.
PowerShell, Python)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively
in cross-functional teams.
