The Department
The People team play a key role in enabling the firm to attract,
develop and retain great people, and giving them the tools and support
needed to develop and fulfil their potential, and that of the firm.
The team is welcoming, inclusive, driven by providing a 'high touch'
level of service, and collaborative in terms of how we work. The team
consists of c.50 people in both business-facing, generalist roles
(Advisory) alongside specialist teams (Data & Systems; Reward;
Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing; Employment, Policy &
Engagement; Talent Acquisition, as well as our Academy, which consists
of Academy Learning, Academy Tech and Early Careers).
Duties and Responsibilities
The People Administrator is responsible for providing accurate and
efficient administrative support to the Reward & Systems team, and
the wider People Team. They play an important role in ensuring the
smooth operation of our People systems and the overall administration
of the employee lifecycle at Mishcon.
Supporting the Reward & Systems Assistants with the data entry
of joiners, leavers and changes in the HR System (Success Factors).
Inputting, updating and maintaining accurate employee records in
Success Factors.
Managing the Salary & Benefits Inbox on a daily basis,
answering basic queries and referring people to the correct
teams/departments where necessary. Also, shared responsibility for
the maintenance of other People Team inboxes.
Working with the Reward & Systems team to improve processes,
correct historical inaccuracies and maintain process guides.
Assisting with the invoice process, seeking authorisation and
liaising with Accounts Payable to ensure prompt payment.
Providing regular and ad hoc reports e.g. headcount, attrition.
Supporting as and when required on wider People Team projects.
Supporting any other administrative tasks required by the wider
People Team.
Skills/Experience
1 year administrative experience desirable.
Experience supporting a team in HR desirable but not essential.
Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive and confidential issues.
Experience of working in a professional services environment desirable.
Highly organised, methodical approach to
work and adept at juggling priorities.
Strong IT Skills in Word and Excel.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to prioritise and multitask
Pro-active approach with a 'can do' attitude and takes initiative.
Good teamwork skills.
Willingness and desire to learn.
Positive attitude towards achieving data
integrity and providing quality outputs in a timely manner.
