Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our
market-leading Academy Team. The role would support the design,
development, and delivery of Tech adoption training to the firm.
Given the nature of our Academy offering at Mishcon, we are looking
for candidates who are strong communicators, confident presenters,
passionate about learning and technology, with the ability to build
strong relationships across the firm.
The Department
The People Team play a key role in enabling the firm to attract,
develop and retain great people, and giving them the tools and support
needed to develop and fulfil their potential, and that of the firm.
The team is welcoming, inclusive, driven by providing a 'high touch'
level of service, and collaborative in terms of how we work. The team
consists of c.50 people in both business-facing, generalist roles
(Advisory) alongside specialist teams (Data & Systems; Reward;
Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing; Employment, Policy &
Engagement; Talent Acquisition, as well as our Academy, which consists
of Academy Learning and Early Careers).
This role will be within our Academy Tech Team with the opportunity
to work alongside the wider business. The Mishcon Academy, established
in 2013, delivers university quality education across a wide range of
areas for everyone at Mishcon.
Duties and Responsibilities
Onboarding
Develop and deliver comprehensive technology adoption training for
new employees and those returning to the firm, ensuring a smooth
integration into our systems and processes.
Manage and enhance the suite of technology adoption resources,
including courses and programmes, on the firm's knowledge base and
Learning Management System, ensuring they remain current and effective.
Develop & Deliver
Adoption Solutions
Conduct thorough analysis and oversee the end-to-end process of
creating adoption resources for new software applications and
platforms, from initial design to post-implementation evaluation.
Coordinate the selection and engagement of external vendors to
provide specialised technology adoption training, ensuring alignment
with the firm's standards and needs.
Collaboration & Teamwork
Provide support to the wider Academy Team, addressing technology
adoption enquiries and related requests.
Foster ongoing dialogue and collaboration with colleagues in the
People Team to align on technology adoption strategies and initiatives.
Maintain proactive and constructive interactions with key
stakeholders, including the Technology, Knowledge Solutions, Legal
Operations, and Strategy teams, to facilitate technology adoption and integration.
Direct and nurture the reciprocal relationship with Practice
Technology Administrators, ensuring timely updates and resolution of
technology adoption matters.
Offer guidance and support to project teams on enterprise-wide
technology adoption projects, contributing to the successful delivery,
rollout, and uptake of new systems.
Ongoing Development,
Research and Analysis
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the latest trends in
technology, learning, and digital adoption, applying insights to
inform strategic team decisions.
Commit to the ongoing enhancement of the team's expertise and
capabilities in areas such as client consultancy, instructional
design, effective presentation, group facilitation, and coaching.
Skills
Instructional Design:
Ability to create highly effective training experiences and resources
that facilitate technology adoption.
Presentation Skills:
Strong presentation skills; delivering and tailoring sessions in
multiple formats to groups of varying sizes and professional levels.
Project Management:
Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously,
including the coordination of external vendors and internal stakeholders.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
convey complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
Stakeholder
Management: Experience in building and maintaining
relationships with key stakeholders across different departments and
levels of seniority.
Analytical Thinking:
Strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of learning
interventions and technology adoption rates.
Technological
Proficiency: Adept at using and understanding a wide range of
technologies and digital platforms, with a willingness to continuously
learn and adapt to new tools.
Experience
Learning &
Development: Proven experience in a learning and development
role, ideally within a technology-focused environment.
Technology Training:
Experience in developing and delivering technology adoption training programs.
Curriculum
Development: A track record of designing and maintaining
up-to-date learning curricula and resources.
Vendor Management:
Experience in sourcing and managing relationships with external
training providers.
Consultancy:
Experience in providing consultancy services, ideally within a
client-facing role or internal consultancy supporting business units.
Team Collaboration: A
history of working collaboratively in team environments, contributing
to shared goals, and supporting colleagues.
