The Role
We are seeking a Technical Operations Analyst with proven technical
skills and experience in supporting infrastructure services both in
the cloud and on prem.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and support infrastructure services across server and networks.
Support, implement and manage services in Office 365 and Azure.
3rd line support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring incidents
are resolved within SLA's.
Monitor capacity and performance of all services ensuring maximum
system availability.
Respond and troubleshoot critical outages across infrastructure,
in conjunction with 3rd party carriers and vendors.
Ensure operational support documentation is complete and accurate.
Working to identify improvements and upgrades to IT infrastructure.
Skills and Knowledge
Cloud Services Configuration and Administration, Azure & O365.
Network Administration and Troubleshooting, Cisco technologies,
included Meraki Wi-Fi.
Strong technical experience of Windows Server Operating Systems
and VMware (ESXi/vCenter).
Experience of Active Directory, Group Policy and other Microsoft
administrative technologies.
SQL Server and database maintenance.
Proficient with using PowerShell.
Exposure to FortiGate or other firewalls technologies beneficial.
An understanding of networking and security concepts.
SAN storage configuration and volume allocation technologies.
Mimecast administration or similar experience with other email
management solutions.
Knowledge of Veeam or similar backup and replication technologies.
Ability to think logically, analyse situations and solve technical problems.
A positive approach to customer focus and service improvement.
Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills.
Exceptional analytical and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
