continues to go from strength to strength and we are involved in
exciting and innovative initiatives across the firm. Rather than
being considered a necessary support function, our Finance
department is an integral part of the strategy of the firm and this
is reflected both by the level of investment and how new initiatives
are discussed at the most senior level.
Summary of position
The role is a pivotal in assisting with planning, budgeting,
forecasting and analysis across the Group, whilst supporting the
development and improvement of processes and systems. In addition, the
role will be the finance business partner for all business operation
services departments (BOPS).
Duties and Responsibilities
Business partner the BOPS teams providing detailed analysis and
insight into commercial decision-making.
Own the monthly reporting process including presenting to each
BOPS team.
Lead on actuals, budget and forecast reporting for the P&L and cashflow.
Development of reporting, including the creation of KPI reports to
enhance performance, operational efficiency and profitability.
Identify risks and opportunities to business performance.
Continuously drive optimisation through insightful analysis and
close collaboration with various departments.
Drive process improvements and automation.
Support business investment decisions by understanding the global
long-term plan and building articulate business cases for senior management.
Own the preparation of other key reports on financials and
performance, highlighting required business interventions.
Have a deep understanding of the value drivers in each area.
Skills and Experience
Technically capable qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or
equivalent). Minimum 5 years PQE.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills, confident presenting to senior
internal and external stakeholders, providing technical and
commercial support, comfortable challenging senior leaders of the business.
