The firm delivers nearly 150 high profile events every year, which
play an important role in the firm's business and culture.
This role supports the Events Manager in planning, delivering and
evaluating exciting and impactful events, ranging from bespoke client
dinners to guest speakers, through to major showcases and parties.
We undertake all aspects of event planning and delivery in-house,
working with a trusted network of suppliers and contractors to ensure
our events are of the highest possible quality and value for all attendees.

Our events take place in our Holborn offices, including our client
lounge and meeting rooms, as well as in partnership with renowned
venues such as the Rosewood Hotel, the Natural History Museum, and
Regents College.
We also work closely with our network of partners, such as Arsenal
FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Saracens, Southbank Centre, the Victoria and
Albert Museum and the O2 to sponsor events and client hospitality.
As we operate a comprehensive
events programme, you will be required to regularly work events
which are held outside of standard office hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Business Development account teams to
determine the event objectives for their practice areas, secure
dates and deliver client events.
Work with the Events and Central Business Services teams on all
aspects of pre-event production, including but not limited to
securing dates, managing RSVPs, negotiating with suppliers,
including the catering and hospitality teams and developing event
materials such as guest packs and presentations.
Coordinate in-person client events, including welcoming and
assisting guests, managing suppliers and contractors, briefing
trainees and event assistants and clear down.
Providing in-person support at events for our offices in London,
Cambridge and Oxford.
Coordinate virtual events, including running webinars, briefing
panellists, providing tech support during virtual events, moderating
sessions and guest interactions.
Coordinate and curate firmwide internal gatherings, such as the
summer party, Partners' conference and children's Christmas party.
Support the Academy with their New Thinking in conversation hybrid
events with high profile speakers.
Ensure effective post-event communications and monitoring,
including recording attendees, updating budgets, assessing feedback
and coordinating photography, films and event write ups.
Work with the Digital Marketing team to publish event-related
information, including pre- and post-event content plugging into the
communications, marketing and events scheduling planner, the GRID.
Work closely with the CRM team to maintain and update attendee
lists using Interaction and HubSpot.
Organise external hospitality for Partners with clients when
required at events such as football and rugby matches and theatre performances.
Maintain a proactive outlook on trends and opportunities for
events, including sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.
Maintain the firm's event calendars and production schedules.
Coordinate stocktake and event resourcing.
Skills/Experience
A dynamic, positive outlook with at least one year's demonstrated
experience in running effective and engaging events.
A proactive approach and demonstrated initiative.
The ability to self-organise, think on your feet, build strong
working relationships and adapt under pressure.
Confidence in communicating effectively with internal and external
stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the
ability to produce high quality written content.
Experience managing your own workload and run your own portfolio
of events.
Experience working independently and as part of a team.
A flexible approach, with the ability to remain calm and adapt
under pressure.
Experience using the CRM systems InterAction, Hubspot and Zoom is
useful, but not essential.
