The Department
Our Technology team continues to go from
strength to strength and we are involved in some incredibly exciting
and innovative initiatives across the firm. Rather than being
considered a necessary support function, our Technology department
is an integral part of the strategy of the firm and this is
reflected both by the level of Technology investment and how
Technology initiatives are discussed at the most senior level.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a
bright and enthusiastic individual to be part of supporting key
initiatives and projects on a 6-month arrangement. The individual
will gain valuable hands-on experience and generate an understanding
of how change projects are delivered and adopted within a leading
London law firm.
This role will shadow and work closely
with a Service Desk Analyst in the Tech Support team who will create
a positive and supportive working environment that will enable the
individual to add real-time value through supporting with project
delivery and other business requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with project activities, including scheduling and
deployments alongside the Service Desk Analyst
Undertake project training on both processes and technologies and
provide colleagues with an overview of the key changes and new features
Support users 'in person', arranging for their hardware needs and
being on hand to liaise with members of the team to fix their issue
Provide administrative support and log all actions taken and
resolutions provided
Provide support to the Project Team, including attending daily
(and ad-hoc) calls and providing status updates
Where necessary escalate issues, in a timely manner
Use intuition and learning experiences to delight the business and
provide an excellent, professional and time-bound service to our
in-house colleagues
Take ownership of issues and be proactive when dealing with queries

Requirements
You will be based in our London office 100% of the time,
shadowing team members as required. We are looking for the successful
candidate to start as soon as possible.
