Overview

The Digital Marketing Apprentice will work closely with the Digital Marketing team which sits within the wider Business Development department. The team plays a key role in projects across the firm and MDR Group companies, advising on and assisting with activities ranging from: website design, build and maintenance; social activities including podcasts and film; data management and analytical reporting; to brand and marketing campaign projects.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Development function and work closely with the Digital Marketing team during the 18 month programme. The Digital Marketing Apprentice will gain experience assisting the team with delivering branded and engaging content, across a variety of platforms using a variety of software, whilst also studying for a Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To support the CRM Manager in ensuring that the firm's CRM system is fit for purpose. The successful applicant will have a passion for data quality with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ensuring data change tickets on the CRM system (InterAction) are processed in a timely manner.
• Providing help and support to end users across the firm.
• Identifying associated training needs to drive better user behaviour. Assist in devising, writing and presenting end user training sessions.
• Involvement in creating and sending branded electronic mailings using e-mail and database communications.
• Support the Digital Marketing team with day to day marketing activities.
• Occasionally assist with filming and photography tasks.
• Support the team in responding to email queries.

Skills/Experience

• A-Levels / BTEC or equivalent and 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4, desired but not mandatory.
• Effective communication skills, including strong grammar, proof reading skills and good telephone manner.
• IT proficient: Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Professional attitude towards work.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Adaptable and flexible approach.
• Pro-active and takes initiative.

All training will be provided by our Training provider and as part of your role you will have 20% of your time allocated to self-study.
