comprises art, reputation, property, immigration, tax and wealth
planning specialists, alongside tenacious litigators who are highly
experienced at dealing with both family and business disputes and
complex multi-jurisdictional cases. We provide practical and
inventive solutions, combining our legal expertise with commercial,
real world advice.

Duties and Responsibilities
The purpose of the role is to
partner with the Chair of the Private Department as well as
appropriate Division and Practice Group Heads to develop and
implement innovative and robust business development and marketing
strategies and activities that support the department's and firm's
business plans. This is a high growth practice which we expect to
evolve rapidly.
Deliver strategically sound,
creatively inspiring and ultimately excellently executed ideas and campaigns.
Develop strong effective
relationships with Partners and practice groups based on knowledge
of the Firm, the practices, the markets and the different
personalities involved.
Work with cross-firm portfolio heads
of Brand, Client Acquisition, Intermediaries, Client Service and
Product Development.
Work closely with our Knowledge
Lawyers to understand the key issues and trends which in turn will
enable you to see opportunities to exploit which others can't and
identify and develop practice-specific content, products and services.
Identify which are the most
appropriate intermediaries for growth and develop plans accordingly.
Identify new markets for the
practice to exploit both through sector and geographic lenses.
Strengthen the business development
and marketing capability of our lawyers and raise their awareness of
the help that the business development team can provide.
Provide a coaching facility to
Partners to help them focus on the right opportunities, develop
their marketing and selling skills in order develop their creativity
and facilitate their strategy to the implementation phase.
Lead the development of the Firm's
profile both internally and externally (e.g. PR, editorial, thought
leadership market research, select conferences, newsletters and seminars).
Develop annual plans as well as budgets.
Contributing
to BD:
Be seen as a role model in the BD team.
Enhance the reputation of the BD
team within the firm for its professionalism and for the strategic
and distinctive value it provides.
Define and assist in the development
of marketing and business development plans for cross-firm initiatives.
Assist the BD SLT in leading agreed
cross firm projects.
Support and lead the collaborative
culture within the team.
Skills/Experience
Individuals
