A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associateto join Norton Rose Fulbright's market leading Banking and Finance group in Perth. Norton Rose Fulbright's Perth Banking and Finance work focuses on the Mining, Commodities and Infrastructure sectors across all of Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas and the team is one of the most highly regarded in Perth.

You will be involved in both cross-border and domestic transactions, and your work will be complex, varied and enormously interesting. You will advise on project financing in the Mining and Infrastructure sectors, structured trade financing, and corporate and institutional financing.

Your clients will include the major Australian, European and Asian banks, top tier corporate borrowers, investment banks and various American and European credit funds. Being part of the wider Norton Rose Fulbright network allows for a high level of collaboration with our Norton Rose Fulbright colleagues in North America, Europe and Asia when working on our cross-border transactions.

The key requirements for this role are as follows:

  • Demonstrated experience within banking and finance transactions gained at a reputable national or international law firm
  • At least 5+ years post qualification experience
  • Ability to work independently and also as a part of a team with multiple partners within the group
  • Ability to build and grow a network and assist with business development and marketing initiatives
  • Eligible to practice law in Australia
