The role

We are looking for an experienced Practice Assistant to support our Restructuring practice, based in Sydney. This position will have a focus on billing as well as general matter management responsibilities.

We are happy to consider candidates looking for part time/flexible hours.

Key responsibilities:

  • Billing for the Sydney Restructuring team
  • Keeping on top of fee estimates and liaising with partners regarding actions to be taken. Undertaking any actions required.
  • Sending out bills to clients including uploading of bills to client billing platforms
  • Keeping on top of the team's time entry and ensuring all time is being captured prior to billing

Requirements

  • Solid experience in client reporting, and working with clients who have specific billing and reporting requirements.
  • Previous experience in a similar position either in a Personal Assistant or Legal Assistant capacity
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to work autonomously and draft basic correspondence and documents
  • Tech savvy with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Able and willing to use initiative to contribute to overall success of team
