We have an exciting opportunity for a high performing Associate to
join our Sydney Projects & Construction team working with Alex
Whiteside and Daniel
Vicano. Our Projects practice is one of the most highly regarded
practices in the market and this is a unique opportunity to join a
team that presents exciting potential for career advancement and
significant development opportunities. This role would have a primary
focus on back end construction matters but the opportunity to work on
front end matters also.
The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows;
Responsibilities
Assist contractors, principals and government clients on a range
of back end matters
Prepare court documents, including documents for evidence,
discovery, and expert and barrister briefs
Liaise with clients and assist in negotiations
Provide mentoring and supervision to Graduates, Paralegals and Clerks
Assist with business development and marketing initiatives
Requirements
A minimum of two years PQE gained within a construction or
projects practice
Demonstrated experience managing a range of back end construction matters
Strong client liaison skills
Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
Strong time management & organisational skills with the
capacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting priorities simultaneously
