Our Brisbane Real Estate team has a reputation for being inclusive, collaborative and supportive. We currently have an opportunity for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join the team part-time on a 3 or 4 day a week basis.

As a valued member of the team, you will support 2 Partners and other members of the team providing high quality Paralegal support primarily focussed on Developer Conveyancing predominantly in the residential space. Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Real Estate administration experience within a law/professional services firm environment is required. We are also looking for a candidate who has the ability to collaborate as part of a team, confidently manage changing priorities and interact well with clients and internal stakeholders. The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Draft correspondence to clients, vendors, purchasers, solicitors and financial institutions
  • Draft conveyancing documents
  • Conduct title searches
  • Assist with conveyancing components of commercial property transactions
  • Provide general assistance to the Real Estate team as required

Requirements

  • Experience with conveyancing within a private practice law firm
  • Previous exposure to leasing work is desired but not essential
  • Previous experience with PEXA
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Exceptional client liaison skills
  • The ability to manage files autonomously and undertake legal administration including complex mail merges
