Description

Hybrid work schedule - Please note that this position can also be filled in any of our offices across Canada

You will be focusing on:

  • Perform billing-related tasks for complex matters of the assigned lawyers/agents: invoicing, distribution of pro formas, proofreading, changes to time entries, write-offs and transfers
  • Assist with the set-up, maintenance and follow-up for our eBilling clients (high-volume, high-profile clients)
  • Enter and manage of flat fee activity codes for specific clients in the financial system
  • Test enhancements related to SAP and propose new enhancements
  • Assist in development of tools for measuring team productivity
  • Act as trainer for team members that need a refresh with different SAP functions
  • Produce reports tailored to the expressed needs of professionals and clients (internal/external)
  • Provide client service to internal and external clients for assigned accounts and respond to various requests in the allotted time
  • Ensure budgets and comprehensive billing agreements are adhered to
  • Assist with month-end procedures
  • Manage requests sent to a common email mailbox
  • Liaise with the client billing specialists
  • Perform any other related duties

What you bring to the role:

  • Diploma of College Studies in an appropriate area
  • Minimum of five years' work experience in a similar position
  • Previous experience in law firm or professional service firm is an asset
  • Solid knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Detail oriented with good problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility in order to accommodate work demands
  • Bilingualism (French / English) is a strong asset
