We currently have an opportunity for a lawyer at Associate to Senior Associate level to join one Australia's leading litigation practices, with a strong focus on class actions, franchising and consumer markets work. As pivotal member of the team, you will be working alongside Nigel Jones focussing on substantial large-scale commercial litigation matters and be working with some of the worlds' best known brands spanning the consumer, retail, automotive and leisure sectors as well as acting for government.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of large scale commercial litigation matters
• Draft correspondence and evidence, run interlocutory applications and trials
• Assist with briefing and instructing counsel and liaising directly with clients
• Assist with document and evidence management
• Assist with presentations, publications and all business development related initiatives

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years PQE gained within a reputable litigation practice
• Strong time management & organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• A strong desire to work on complex, high profile litigation
• Excellent written, drafting and verbal communication skills
• Strong client liaison skills
