The role

We currently have an opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator to join the National People & Development team in our Sydney office. This is a unique opportunity to develop your Human Resources career as a valued member of the collaborative HR Operations team. This role will work closely with the People & Development team in all core aspects of HR administration and coordination.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Management of all induction and on boarding activities for our new starters; preparation of timetables and induction packs and conducting our firm's welcome induction.
  • Coordinate HR administration associated with probation, variations and departures including the creation of employment agreements and other associated documentation.
  • Assist with the coordination of annual performance, planning and review processes, promotion processes as well as involvement in ad hoc national HR projects.
  • Execute Workplace Health and Safety legislation compliance activities for the Sydney office.
  • Where required, participate in the interview process for the summer clerkship program including scheduling and participating in interviews and networking evenings.

Requirements

  • Prior HR administration experience gained ideally within a legal or professional services firm or a leading corporate environment.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in a professional services environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or currently completing relevant HR qualification.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, advanced Word and Excel skills are essential.
