Job Title Trade Mark Administrator

A unique opportunity has arisen to join our Intellectual Property practice as a Trade Mark Administrator. This is a great opportunity that presents exciting potential and significant development opportunities while working in a leading IP practice in an inclusive, dynamic team.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:


  • Working closely with Partners and the wider team to assist them in co-ordinating Trade Mark applications
  • Filing Australian and international Trade Mark applications and associated formalities
  • Managing the administration for Trade Mark applications process including processing registration certificates and processing acceptance/advertisements
  • Keeping track of deadlines and issuing reminders
  • Preparation of correspondence and invoices to clients
  • Managing group templates and precedents


  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Inprotech is essential
  • High level of attention to detail and an ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the IP Australia and IPONZ filing requirements and deadlines
