Description
Our Australian Dispute Resolution practice
is best known for our work in complex litigation, class actions,
public inquiries and financial regulatory investigations. Our
strength is bringing together multi-disciplinary teams to
comprehensively support the needs of our global client base, both
here in Australia and overseas.
Our clients include financial
institutions, infrastructure & construction companies, resource
entities, technology & innovation leaders and government bodies.
We focus on class actions, shareholder disputes, directors duties
and remedies under the Corporations Act, ASIC, ACCC and APRA
investigations and inquiries, royal commissions, post-acquisition
disputes, corporate trustee claims and allegations concerning
misleading and deceptive conduct.
The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity
available for a Senior Associate with 4+ years PQE to join our
Litigation team, based in Sydney. Offering a unique blend of work,
exposure to market leading partners and award winning training and
opportunities for career progression. Working across a number of
partners you will gain exposure to federal and state court
procedure, pleading and evidence preparation, working with
barristers including leading senior counsel, regulatory review and
response, as well as a close knit, collegiate team environment.
Requirements
4+ years PQE
A strong desire to work on complex, high
profile litigation
Excellent written, drafting and verbal
communication skills
The successful candidate will need to be
an engaging, and highly motivated individual with exceptional
