Our commercial real estate team in Ottawa is highly regarded for its
breadth and depth of expertise in local, national and international
commercial real estate matters, transactions and financings. Our team
works closely with our colleagues across the country and acts for a
broad range of clients across the complete spectrum of real estate
matters, including urban planning projects, direct and indirect
investment transactions, real estate financing, real property
acquisitions and divestitures, equity investment structuring,
development projects and leasing/franchising arrangements.
We are currently seeking to add to the existing strength of our team
by bringing in an associate with strong experience in commercial real
estate matters, including commercial leasing, financing, asset-based
lending, acquisitions and dispositions, land development, mortgages
and franchising. This presents an incredible opportunity to join a
world-class group of professionals at an established Canadian law firm
with an international legal practice, while working in a collegial and
collaborative team that is both professionally and personally rewarding.
The ideal candidate will possess an LL.B or JD degree and will also have:
4 to 6 years of related experience in either a private practice or
in-house setting;
exceptional client service, interpersonal and communication
skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and initiative;
demonstrated business acumen and a strong commercial
understanding; and
strong personal and professional integrity and a hard-working and
passionate approach.
While not required, bilingualism is viewed as an asset.
