Description

The Role

You will be part of our Regulatory, Compliance and Investigations (RCI) team. Candidate must possess strong drafting, research, document management and communication skills to be successful in this role.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Assist with work across a broad range of regulatory, compliance and investigations work including, anti-bribery and corruption, AML & CFT, cybersecurity and data privacy, sanctions and export controls, financial services regulation, workplace harassment and antitrust and competition.
• Conducting legal research and analysis
• Managing, reviewing and indexing documents
• Preparing and drafting legal documents, reports and correspondence under the supervision of the relevant Associates
• Note-taking during meetings and proof-reading of documents
• Assisting the team in consolidating and updating know-how
• Other administrative and drafting tasks

Skills and Experience Required

• Relevant experience in a legal firm would be preferable
• Good spoken and written skills in English
• Strong technical skills including strong working knowledge in Microsoft office packages, including MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint, and research skills
• Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated
• The ability to interact and build relationships with people at all levels
• Ability to work well in both a team and individually
• Good academic record
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a demanding workload and competing priorities
• Should be able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to keep calm under work pressure
• Proven initiative and proactive and pragmatic attitude to problem solving and a flexible approach to tackling a wide variety of tasks
