Description

SAP Integration Architect

The Integration Architect is responsible for providing both hands-on integration technical capability and taking lead role in establishing integration architecture; and its design for the systems managed by NRF Global IT. This includes series of SAP applications, Intapp products, MS SQL DBs, SaaS solutions such as Chrome River, Workday and any other systems currently in the scope of NRF Global IT solution.

NRF is in a process of delivering multiple cloud shift projects where the Integration Architect is expected to demonstrate expertise in delivering integrations betweem cloud and on-premise or clould and cloud environment

NRF is also planning to introduce global ESB (enterprise service bus) solution in near future and again, Integration Architect is expected to provide leadership in conducting analysis, and designing architecture and overseeing the implementation

The responsibilities also include interacting with NRF's regional IT teams and third parties to facilitates the delivery of integration works in these projects or BAU activities (change requests or incident fixes)

• Team member of the NRF Global IT organisation, reports to the Global Enterprise Architect
• Lead integration activities together with other NRF architects, support teams and third party vendors
• Be "the go-to person" for all the integration related topics, information and works for NRF Global solution
• Analyse and deliver solution to integration requirements for projects/BAU works which involves Global systems. Hands on skill to deliver Design, Build, Test and also to lead/review the works delivered by third parties
• Own and manage integration architecture related artefacts (integration inventory, integration architecture/design, guidelines, integration patterns)
• Do reaserch, plan and lead the work to achieve 5 year roadmap of future proof integration to-be model
• Closely work with support / service team, third parties to monitor integration related issues and lead resolution in timely manner (specially production incidents) and take proactive actions
• Ensure compliance with NRF IT Security policies, and participates in security, audit and regulatory initiatives. Reinforce security rules and escalate where risky activity is detected
• Manage the schedule & timeline of the activities across multiple systems/regions, assess and avoid conflicts and streamline the work efforts and communicate with relevant parties
• Document processes, procedures, and plans, including changes, upgrades, and new integrations
• Closely work with wider teams (Function/Technical team, Architects, Infrastructure team, Security team, Regional IT team) and manage necessary communications and escalations
• Periodically seek feedback from the wider NRF teams (Archtiects, IT leadership) on the integration solution.

Immediately upon appointment, the role would be responsible for managing delivery of integration works in NRF projects and BAU activities

Integration Architecture artefacts

• Integration Architecture High Level Design
• Integration Patterns, Policies and Guideline
• Integration Architecture 5 year roadmap

Project / BAU work artefacts

• Functional Design (Integration specific including mapping design)
• Technical Design
• Build (configuration, coding related to integration)
• Conducting / leading integration Test with providing testing artefacts
• Post Go-live support

Qualification and Experience:

• As NRF Global solutions are mainly based on SAP, Intapp, MS SQL applications, the role requires an individual with
• a solid background in SAP integrations using SAP PI/PO with at least 3 SAP full implementation experiences to multi-national/regional corporations.

• Previous experience of supporting integration between SAP and other interfaced applications. Strong SAP support skills, ideally developed through solid experience

• ability to design/build integrations based on SOAP, REST, JSON, XML
• capability to handle SFTP, JDBC connections, PGP encryption/decryption, Base64 codification
• good knowledge of SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and cloud connectors
• knowledge of Intapp Integrate (aka Integration Builder) and IIS (based on Dell Boomi), nice to have
• knowledge of MS SQL integration (SSIS), nice to have

• Strong experiences in designing and deliverying integrations between Cloud and On-Premise, Cloud and Cloud, On-premise and On-premise
• Good experience in designing and deliverying integrations in Microsoft Azure
• Strong experiences in designing and implementing market leading ESB solutions such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Web Sphere
• Experience of working in offshore model (third party vendors being offshore), cross-culturally and cross -functionally, and ability to adapt personal style to different environments;
• Pro-active collaboration and stakeholder management will be second nature and a core strength. Ability to influence internal departments in order to obtain co-operation;
• Experience of working in a fast paced environment with demanding deadlines and goal orientated
• Performance tuning, troubleshooting, go live support
• Interacting with various other teams during system build and implementation process
• ITIL v3 Foundation would be an advantage

Technical & Specialist Knowledge

• Solid SAP PI/PO (7.5) architecture, design/build/test, support/project experiences (certified, ideally)
• Ability to design/build integrations based on SOAP, REST, JSON, XML
• Capability to handle SFTP, JDBC connections, PGP encryption/decryption, Base64 codification
• Good knowledge of SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and cloud connectors

• Experience with S4/HANA would also be beneficial
• Knowledge and experience with integration performance tuning
