The Role
The Integration Architect is responsible for providing both hands-on
integration technical capability and taking lead role in establishing
integration architecture and its design for the systems managed by NRF
Global IT. This includes series of SAP applications, Intapp products,
MS SQL DBs, SaaS solutions such as Chrome River, Workday and any other
systems currently in the scope of NRF Global IT solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Team member of the NRF Global IT organisation, reporting to a
Global Enterprise Architect
- Lead integration activities together with other NRF architects,
support teams and third party vendors
- Be "the go-to person" for all the integration related
topics, information and works for NRF Global solution
- Analyse and deliver solution to integration requirements for
projects/BAU works which involves Global systems. Hands on skill to
deliver Design, Build, Test and also to lead/review the works
delivered by third parties
- Own and manage integration architecture related artefacts
(integration inventory, integration architecture/design, guidelines,
integration patterns)
- Do reaserch, plan and lead the work to make proposal of 5 year
roadmap of future proof integration to-be model
- Closely work with support / service team, third parties to monitor
integration related issues and lead resolution in timely manner
(specially production incidents) and take proactive actions
- Ensure compliance with NRF IT Security policies, and participates
in security, audit and regulatory initiatives. Reinforce security
rules and escalate where risky activity is detected
- Manage the schedule & timeline of the activities across
multiple systems/regions, assess and avoid conflicts and streamline
the work efforts and communicate with relevant parties
- Document processes, procedures, and plans, including changes,
upgrades, and new integrations
- Closely work with wider teams (Function/Technical team,
Architects, Infrastructure team, Security team, Regional IT team)
and manage necessary communications and escalations
- Periodically seek feedback from the wider NRF teams (Archtiects,
IT leadership) on the integration solution
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong experiences in designing and deliverying integrations
between Cloud and On-Premise, Cloud and Cloud, On-premise and On-premise
- Good experience in designing and deliverying integrations in
Microsoft Azure
- Strong experiences in designing and implementing market leading
ESB solutions such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Web Sphere
- Experience of working in offshore model (third party vendors being
offshore), cross-culturally and cross -functionally, and ability to
adapt personal style to different environments;
- Pro-active collaboration and stakeholder management will be second
nature and a core strength. Ability to influence internal
departments in order to obtain co-operation;
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment with demanding
deadlines and a desire to deliver to milestones would be a distinct advantage.
- Performance tuning, troubleshooting, go live support
- Interacting with various other teams during system build and
implementation process
- ITIL v3 Foundation would be an advantage
