advice."- Chambers & Partners
We are looking for an Associate/Senior Associate to join our highly
regarded Commercial team in London, particularly focusing on the areas
of IT, IP, outsourcing and data protection. This is an exciting
opportunity to join a successful and growing team, and advise on high
value, strategically important and often international projects within
a supportive and collegiate environment.
The practice
Our Commercial group provides leading-edge business solutions to
clients, ranging from high growth start-ups to multinationals and
covering the entire spectrum of commercial activity. Our London team
has a strong reputation with large global clients requiring
sophisticated cross-jurisdictional advice.
We act for clients on commercial contracts issues across a range of
sectors, including;
TMT: We have a market-leading reputation in the
telecoms, technology and media and entertainment fields, and are
regularly involved in cutting-edge matters.
Financial Services: we have a very strong
financial service oriented commercial practice, which is
particularly active in relation to technology and outsourcing
matters, often for FinTechs, challenger banks and other new market entrants.
Life sciences and healthcare: We advise a number
of leading life sciences, biotech and healthcare companies on
contractual agreements relating to licensing, strategic partnering,
co-operative research and development, and drug supply, as well a
public/private agreements and major outsourcings.
Retail: We handle a range of commercial and
technology agreements for household name clients, such as Superdry,
Hunter Boot, Ralph Lauren, Foot Locker and Mulberry. The lockdown
challenges of 2020 saw significant activity in this space as
retailers looked to bolster their online retail presence through
developing and implementing enhanced technology solutions, and we
were heavily involved in the contracts that enabled this.
