Duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Ensuring maximum effectiveness of the work allocation within the Practice Group
  • Monitoring resource requirements for matters, anticipating and managing periods of increased/reduced busyness
  • Monitoring and managing holiday requests to ensure appropriate planning of holidays around periods of projected peak activity
  • Responsibility for inputting into the design and delivery of work allocation process improvements across the Practice Group
  • Working closely with the Practice Group's senior stakeholders including the Operations Director, Operations Manager, and HR Business Partner to achieve the firm's dedication to diversity, the importance of an inclusive culture and positive financial growth as well as other strategic projects

  • The ability to build strong, trust based, working relationships with colleagues (particularly at a senior level) as well as able to lead
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in dealing with people at senior levels

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • A good team player, excellent organisational skills and a commercial and business awareness
  • Strong understanding of, and ability to analyse, data and present it back to the partner team
  • Ability to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities to tight deadlines
  • Ability to respond to change, be innovative and offer creative solutions
