Role overview
At RPC we are introducing a new exciting
position into IT. This role will have the title of; Endpoint and
Collaboration Analyst. The Endpoint and Collaboration team
encompasses both traditional desktop engineering and unified
communications into one team responsible for all endpoints, from
laptops and desktops to smart phones and tablets. The team will also
be responsible for building and maintaining an enterprise
communications platform that our business will use to communicate,
share and collaborate both internally and with our clients.
This is a highly technical role requiring
an excellent endpoint engineer with Intune proficiency matched with
skills in unified communication platforms, namely Microsoft 365 and
Teams integration. You will need to have knowledge of VOIP
telephony, be security aware and experience of CASB and Proxy
technologies would be advantageous.
The role will suit a highly driven,
self-motivator, with a strong desire to meet a challenge, exceed
expectations and deliver as a team. Someone who can cope with a fast
moving and sometimes stressful environment. Someone who isn't afraid
of change and to take advantage of new technologies on the horizon.
Key internal relationships
Key working relationships with the
Endpoint and Collaboration will be crucial for the role. Strong
relationships with the members of Infrastructure, Business Systems
and Service Delivery will be vital in order to attain effective
service levels. Building effective and strong relationship with IT
security is essential.
Reports to
Endpoint and Collaboration Manager
Duties and Responsibilities include but
not are limited to the following:
ensuring timely identification,
assessment, and remediation of security vulnerabilities across the estate
Developing our communications platforms
and devices which will include managing our key vendors and partners.
Supporting our cloud SaaS collaboration
tool and managing major changes and product life cycle
Building knowledge guides of new
platforms with our knowledge teams and engaging in our knowledge
sharing programme
Supporting and building our Endpoint
management platform with Intune and Autopilot
Building a robust, secure, and evolving
roadmap, defining our user genres always keeping UX and security
as priority
Participating and occasionally running
our daily stand up to highlight progress on our key priorities,
escalating any blockers to our stakeholders
Building relationships within IT and
across the business to better understand what our business
requirements are and what are users want from their technology
Developing your own skills and
undertaking R&D to improve our systems
Updating our Azure DevOps board with
progress and keeping stakeholders informed
Accurately estimate sprint goals to
stakeholders and deliver on time
Contribute to the drive of automation
and continuous improvement of services and support
Establishing processes and procedures to
improve and support globally service delivery
Ensure DevOps Wiki is up to date, with
content tested and distributed where needed
Undertake change submission role
including submitting new change requests and attending the weekly
CAB meeting as required
Feed into Major Incident Management and
Problem Management processes and ensure these filters down to
Endpoint team members
