The role

We are seeking a Senior Client Development Executive (12-month FTC) to join our expanding Client Development team, supporting our Insurance Key Account Programme.

In this role, you'll drive the profitable growth of our largest and most complex clients. You'll work with Key Account teams to implement structured processes, embed best practices, and ensure consistency across all relationship activities.

This position is ideal for an experienced Client Development Executive ready for the next step, or a Senior Client Development Executive seeking a new challenge in shaping the growth of our firm's largest and most dynamic group. The successful candidate will enjoy high visibility and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Reports to

Head of Business & Client Development (Insurance).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading on a number of key client relationships, supporting effective account management, maximizing revenue growth, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Working with Client Relationship Partners (CRPs) and Account Team Partners to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Serving as a strategic advisor to CRPs and other stakeholders, understanding client needs, objectives, and growth plans.
  • Implementing client development initiatives and ensure successful implementation to drive increase engagement and satisfaction.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for product development and promotion to enhance client relationships.
  • Chairing internal strategy group meetings for Key Accounts.
  • Challenging partners on the delivery of short-term objectives and drive progress towards long-term client vision.
  • Supporting stakeholders in preparing compelling pitches and proposals.
  • Utilising expertise and industry knowledge to steer research projects and thought leadership initiatives that add value to our clients.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor analysis, and client needs to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Fostering strong internal and external communication channels to increase awareness of Key Account Programme activity and encourage collaboration.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of Key Account events, ensuring client engagement and relationship building.
  • Proactively managing budgets, ensuring optimal return on investment for business development initiatives, events, and sponsorships.
