We are recruiting for a senior lawyer to play an integral part of our financial services team in our Bristol office. The ideal candidate will be 5 years + PQE level and have a credible background in financial services and ideally within investments, funds and/or regulatory.
We are looking for a talented and technical lawyer who has the ambition and aptitude to embrace our first class client base in the asset management and financial institutions sectors and is looking to further develop their knowledge and experience of this exciting and evolving industry.
The successful candidate will be exposed to a varied workload and will effectively provide financial services regulatory advice and support specifically in relation to investment funds products and related financial services.
There is the opportunity for a proactive and dedicated individual who may, at the moment, be part of another part of the financial services legal advisory industry to re-train into the practice and support and training will be provided. The role requires a confident and able networker who enjoys working and developing teams and embraces client and business development. This role will give the chosen candidate the opportunity to live in the beautiful west country whilst developing a truly first class career as a lawyer in the financial services industry normally associated with roles in the City.
The role is principally based in our Bristol office but also involves travel to/from London for team/firm events, training and general development as well as client meetings. The role may also require travel from time to time to our offices/locations abroad.
Applicants will ideally have 5 years’ post qualified experience in a financial services practice which will have been gained at another leading City/national or regional practice.
Strong client focus with an ability and willingness to get actively involved in marketing and business development.
