The Amsterdam team comprises approximately 130 people, 80 of whom are lawyers, (junior) civil-law notaries and tax advisers.

Our Amsterdam Financial Markets group comprises over 30 lawyers, civil-law notaries and tax consultants. The group specialises in general lending, acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance and other structured finance transactions, capital markets transactions, derivatives, restructuring, investment funds, asset management and financial supervision regulation. The team mostly advises financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, asset managers, investment funds, pension funds and large corporates.

To expand our team, Simmons & Simmons is looking for a

Associate - Banking (4 years PQE +)

Our future colleague

• is proficient in Dutch and English, with the ability to express him/herself in a clear and concise manner
• has sharp analytical skills
• has a strong client focus and well honed social skills
• is able to work effectively as part of a team
• has post-qualification experience in the banking and finance practice
• has experience drafting LMA compliant documentation and the motivation to further develop this skill, and
• ideally has worked at other major leading law firm(s).
