SUMMER VACATION SCHEME 2021

We are looking to recruit up to 4 interns for our 2021 Summer Vacation Scheme in the Singapore office.

This four-week experience will give you a deeper understanding of our world, and you'll leave feeling part of our team. With a buddy and a supervising associate on hand, you'll be a part of working life at the firm. You'll attend social events, do vital research and drafting work, and even meet with clients. It's a packed schedule, including experience across two different departments, but by the end, you'll have a strong sense of whether we're right for you - and you for us.

Places: 2 per batch

Exposure and Assignment
Practice Groups: During the 4-week vacation scheme, you will be assigned to 2 practice groups. Each rotation lasts for 2 weeks. You will work alongside a partner or associate, who will supervise, direct, encourage and coach you.

Buddy System: To help you settle into the firm as quickly as possible, we will match you with a current trainee or junior associate. You buddy will involve you in a range of interesting and challenging work and every aspect of working life. Your work will involve research, drafting documents and letters, minute taking and arranging meetings - and you will also work directly with our clients.

Presentation: To demonstrate your excellent presentation skills, you will be assigned to a task to deliver a presentation to our partners and associates at the end of your stay. You may select a legal-related topic in which you are most interested.

Social Events: Apart from an initial welcome lunch with your buddies, we also arrange a 'partner' lunch for you, where you can chat to and get to know our partners, on a one to one basis. We actively encourage you to get involved in our numerous social events as we feel this is an important way for you to get to know us and for us to get to know you.

Training Contract
Interns with outstanding performance will be considered for our training contract 2024.
